            <description>With a mix of surprise, suspense and gore &quot;The Crazies&quot; does prove to be somewhat of an original movie.  Although it is a remake, this holds up to the horrors of today. Unlike other horror films, the movie takes hold of the viewer from the start instead of forcing the audience to watch the first 30 minutes of character buildup.</description>
